Reins & Reflections March News

March is shaping up to be a busy and action-packed month, particularly with entries opening tomorrow for the highly anticipated Autumn ARCA Challenge!

We’ve also had some of our Wallangarra members out competing already, achieving fantastic results in both eventing and dressage.

If you’ve been out and about—whether competing, attending a clinic, or simply enjoying a beach ride—we’d love to hear from you! Send us your updates and photos so we can celebrate member milestones and achievements together.

Happy riding, see you all in April

HELMET TAGGING

Don’t have a tagged helmet?  No worries! You can visit Horseland Kelmscott to have your helmet checked and tagged for compliance with EWA/EA standards. You don’t need to be an EWA member to have your helmet tagged—this service is available to all riders. Helmet taggers will only verify compliance with EA-approved safety standards; they do not assess the helmet’s condition, age, or fit.

Whilst it’s not enforced at rallies, ensuring your helmet meets EA standards is essential for competition and rider safety, so we encourage everyone to have their helmets tagged.

SUPPORT IN THE SADDLE

What’s the Best Sports Bra for Equestrians? Riding is a high-impact sport, making the right sports bra essential for comfort and performance. A well-fitted, high-support bra can reduce bounce, prevent strain, and improve stability in the saddle. Some top picks for equestrians include: Berlei Shift Extreme Impact Bra, Panache Wired Sports Bra, Simone Pérèle Harmony, and the She Science Ultimate Run Bra.

Got Any Tips for Us? We’d Love to Hear Them!

Whether it’s your favorite tack hack, a game-changing riding exercise, or a must-have product recommendation, we’d love to hear your best equestrian tips!   Send them to: wallangarraarc@gmail.com
